The Double Refusal
Resistance demands a double refusal: rejecting not only those who wield power unjustly, but the very race for power that enslaves all participants. The most radical act is recognising that power is humanity's most coveted illusion - a force no one truly possesses yet everyone serves, reducing both oppressor and oppressed to instruments of their own destruction. True liberation extends compassion even to those whose humanity has been hollowed out by the very force they believe they control.
